Privacy, in plain language
A clear guide to the information involved when you browse our independent gaming directory, use its preference controls, or get in touch.
This policy is presented on this page. Please check here for the current version.
Purpose and scope
This policy describes information practices for Aussie Play Atlas, an independent directory and guide to gaming websites available to Australian visitors. It applies when you browse this site and its informational pages, including our rankings, platform and category guides, FAQ, gaming updates, contact page and other helper pages.
We publish editorial information to help visitors compare website features and find material relevant to their interests. Aussie Play Atlas does not own or operate the external gaming websites listed in the directory. This policy covers our own site experience; each external destination is responsible for explaining its own practices.
Information visitors choose to provide
If you use the contact form, you may choose to provide details such as your name, email address, the subject of your message and the message itself. The form uses those details so we can understand your enquiry and respond. Please include only information that is relevant to your request.
Contact details are not needed to browse the directory. We do not ask visitors to submit sensitive personal information through the site. A message may be referred to the appropriate person handling the enquiry where that is needed to prepare a reply.
Browser storage and consent
The site saves your cookie preference so the choice remains consistent as you move between pages and return later. This essential preference is kept in browser storage, with a first-party cookie fallback where available. It records the choice you made; it is not used here to identify you.
You can use the cookie controls when they appear to allow optional preferences or keep to essential storage. To revisit your selection later, choose Review cookie choices in the footer. Clearing your browser data may remove the saved choice and cause the controls to appear again.
Basic technical information
When a browser requests a web page, the systems that deliver it may process ordinary technical details needed to complete that request. Depending on the hosting environment, these can include the requested page, time of request, browser or device characteristics, and network information such as an IP address.
These details are part of normal web delivery and troubleshooting. This page does not describe an analytics or advertising integration. The information available to the site can depend on the hosting provider and its configuration.
External gaming websites
Our guides may link to third-party gaming websites to help you explore a destination. Following a link takes you away from Aussie Play Atlas. The destination may collect information, use browser storage or present different terms according to its own policies.
We cannot control how an external site handles information or how its practices change. Review the privacy information on that website before sharing details or using its services. A link in our directory does not make this policy apply to the external destination.
Information handling and retention
Information provided in an enquiry should be used for the purpose explained when it is collected, such as understanding and responding to your message. Access should be limited to people who need the information to handle that purpose.
Enquiry information should be kept only for as long as it is needed for the enquiry and related follow-up, or as otherwise required for legitimate operational or legal reasons. We do not state a fixed retention period because one has not been specified for this site.
Visitor choices and enquiries
You can decide whether to contact us and what details to include. You can also manage the optional preference choice from the consent controls, or clear stored site data in your browser. Browser settings provide additional controls for cookies and local storage, though changing them can affect saved preferences.
For a question about this policy or information connected with an enquiry you sent, visit our contact page. Include enough context for us to understand your request, while avoiding unnecessary personal details.
Policy updates
We may revise this page when our site or information practices change. The updated wording will be published here so visitors can review the current explanation. Please return to this page if you want to check what the policy says.
Clear choices make for better browsing.
